KINTEX is carrying out a scholarship program for middle and high school students in Gyeonggi-do and provides scholarship so that they can concentrate on their studies. Since 2007, a total of 690 students have been selected and granted a scholarship for 14 years.
KINTEX Exhibition Camp
KINTEX supports the dream of future rookies in MICE industry. We invite the families of elementary and middle school students in Gyeonggi-do to support the field experience of the exhibition and participate in camping activities at the KINTEX campsite.
KINTEX Wow Fair
KINTEX organizes a local residents-participating flea market where women on a career break and young people preparing to start a business participate as sellers in the region. All proceeds from the flea market are donated to the underprivileged in the local community.
Kimchi-making event
In the remaining space in KINTEX, KINTEX collaborates with local social enterprises to hold a kimchi-making event with local residents. Kimchi is provided to the underprivileged families in the local community.
Home Country Visits for Multicultural Families
KINTEX provides opportunities to visit hometowns for multicultural families who have been unable to visit their home countries for a long time due to economic difficulties. We are carrying out activities such as subsidizing the cost of visiting multicultural families in their home countries and inviting them to KINTEX-organizing exhibitions in their home countries.
Inviting Local Children to KINTEX Events
KINTEX provides opportunities to experience events held in KINTEX for underprivileged children in our local community by supporting the cost of experiencing events held at the exhibition hall. We will do our best to provide more children with good-quality cultural experience opportunities.
HOLT Volunteer Program
KINTEX is creating a culture of sharing and coexistence through the voluntary participation of employees in volunteer activities. We visit welfare facilities such as Holt Ilsan Welfare Center to support meals, help children to play, and clean the facilities.
Janghang Wetland Cleaning Volunteer Program
We are carrying out environmental conservation activities at the KINTEX level to practice 2050 carbon neutrality and respond to climate change. KINTEX executives and staffs are participating in the cleanup activities at Janghang Wetland, which is registered as a Ramsar Wetland.
Dumpling-making Event
KINTEX practices Shared Management for the underprivileged. Together with KINTEX employees, welfare groups, and volunteers, we make dumplings for the holidays and share them with the underprivileged, such as the elderly living alone.
